Award Solutions is a registered Approved Activity Provider that offers quality Bronze, Silver, and Gold expeditions to individuals, schools, youth groups, and voluntary organisations who are registered for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Our staff have over 40 years expertise and a wealth of knowledge in delivering safe and challenging expeditions. All Award Solutions staff have Outdoor Qualifications, Enhanced DBS and the relevant 1st Aid Qualification.
Award Solutions is an inclusive charity and staff have undergone training to work with people of differing abilities and back grounds. We are committed to engaging with and encouraging all young people to participate in the D of E Expedition Section and other Awards.
We have experience of working with young people with differing needs or who identify as vulnerable. We have also worked with care providers to enable young people to participate in the D of E Award during a period of being Looked After. We support participation by adapting training methods to suit the learning needs of the participant. We can adapt expeditions with the use of photographic and symbol route cards. Our aim is to encourage independence and build self-confidence in young people.
